* 30 minute video telling the story of Joseph’s faith in God and how he was protected and guided through many dangerous and difficult events.
* Alternatively, read a short version of the story with the key events
2) Discussion about Faith
Faith in God means to believe in and trust God. We cannot see God, but He is always with us.
1. What special things could Joseph do?
He received dreams about the future
He could interpret people’s dreams
2. What bad things happened to Joseph?
He was thrown in a pit by his brothers and sold as a slave.
He was put in prison.
3. What attitude did Joseph have?
Instead of getting angry with God for what happened, he trusted in God prayed for help
4. How did God help him?
He was made head of Potiphar’s household
Pharaoh made him governor of Egypt
5. How can we learn to have faith in God?
Pray every day.
