The FAMILY PLEDGE
The Family Pledge is a covenant and guideline for blessed families, Rev. Moon proclaimed it on May 1, 1994. Its eight short verses convey the blessings, mission and responsibilities of the family. Father Moon said, “You offer the Family Pledge to God the Creator, our Heavenly Parent, and the True Parents. Beyond that, you recite the Family Pledge to bring all families across the world to God.” He asked us to recite the Pledge as a family, just as he did with his family. The Pledge expresses the highest ideals for the family, from which begins “everything in heaven and on earth, such as happiness, freedom and peace.”
